About Me
Janette James is the principal photographer of Tall Angel Photography. She has been nationally exhibited, and was voted one of the Top Rated child, baby and family photographers in NYC. She attended the International Center of Photography, studying black & white film photography, specializing in portraits of
children. These days she uses a Nikon digital camera, and specializes in women, pregnancy, and children of all ages. She has photographed celebrities' babies and children, but the highest compliment she can receive is in referrals and repeat clients, who become like family as she photographs them through many years. Janette is originally from New Zealand. She feels it was growing up in New Zealand that inspired her love of photographing in the country. She currently lives in the beautiful countryside of Pawling, NY with her daughters, and a menagerie of animals: dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, budgies, guinea pigs, and one day she hopes to add a couple goats to the mix!
